House Bill 1300 allows regulated cultivated oyster farming, providing a major economic boost to the seafood and tourism industries along the Texas coast.

House Bill 2846 protects the Brazos River basin’s economic stability and growth by requiring the City of Houston to transfer ownership interests of the Allens Creek Reservoir project to the Brazos River Authority. This will develop critically needed water resources, reduce groundwater loss, and secure billions of dollars in economic growth by developing additional water supplies.

Senate Bill 26 permanently appropriates the sporting goods sales tax revenue to the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and the Texas Historical Commission to these departments have a dedicated and sustainable revenue source to fund parks and historical sites.
